I’m looking for programme management apps/softwares/tools for small environmental justice ngo which can be an alternative to google services.
My group/organisation focuses on social ecological justice, and reparation of our relationship with nature. We are a newly created fiscal host of a much bigger global youth movement for biodiversity, but had to leave previous host due to clash of values and somehow bullyish behaviour. We are in the process of operationalizing our small ngo to keep serving as the fiscal host for the movement. We have 14 active members and/or staff. We mostly coordinate capacity building trainings, workshops to convene like-minded groups in order to plan strategic action and campaigns, as well as helping the larger youth movement to implement sactions and projects at the national/regional level. We also provide fellowships and seed grants. Our annual turnover is 300k-500k.
Have you mapped what specific tools you are using that you’d like to replace Google for? I think this is one of the first steps
I am doing a review of this and trying to degoogle at Tripod this year, I will be doing some work around this and can share our process for this and where we ended up afterwards

Honestly so far I’ve come across some things that are better than Google but certainly nothing that feels fully aligned yet. I am trying to get a clear picture across our team of what we consider to be an aligned app and things we wont budge on like genocide complicity or AI being impossible to turn off..

Thank you so much for your replies! I have been recommended to use Cryptpad to store documents in a safer way. We have been using Trello, but have been recommended working with Notion for project management. We are in the beginning of setting up everything, so I am still researching and trying options! If you find good alternatives from Google (and other genocide complicity companies) please do share! Thank you so much!!
