Relocation budget & support

I’m looking for a relocation policy, including budget that covers some costs of moving and scales equitably

Tripod is a workers co-op, doing support for social movements in Scotland. We currently have 4 part-time staff and are likely to recruit again in the next year or two. Since many of our recent hires have moved to Scotland to work with us, we need to be in-person to do our roles and Edinburgh is an expensive place to be, we want to begin budgeting to support this. Our annual turnover is around 140k. It’s important to us that we are able to especially support future staff to relocate in practical and material ways, and can’t find any figures: up to 8,000 is non-taxable, and we have limited financial resources. We have various specific policies for parents, etc, but would want this to also scale equitably: i.e more support for those most impacted by systemic racism, non-homeowners, take account of other wealth etc etc
