I'm looking for guidance on managing employees with ADHD

I’m looking to find tools and guidance on managing employees with ADHD so that they can feel supported and empowered without the usual over-emphasis on “performance” that I find oppressive.

My organisation has a hierarchical structure and I manage 4 people and although I am trying to introduce new ways of thinking about our structure and management processes, they are fairly standard for the UK charity sector. It’s a very “non-corporate” vibe, but nonetheless there are expectations around performance and progression etc.

Any help would be very useful.

Hi @RCollins - Just to say, having also struggled with this a couple of times in the past, when it’s been clear an org hasn’t been equipped to support the ADHD needs of a worker, I’d be really interested in hearing what people share here. How this stuff gets lumped into ‘performance’ reviews seems so clearly discriminatory, but is still what most org’s seem to view it as! Thanks for surfacing the question!
