Hi everyone, we’re looking to develop our ethical procurement policy, and was wondering if anyone would be ok sharing the ones they have please?

hi Virginie - as a sole trader, I don’t have one written up as a stand alone document (it’s referred to in lots of other places), but broadly, my principles approach are:

  • local first
  • co-op or social economy organisation second
  • micro enterprise third

based on supporting resilience in the my local economy, reducing travel miles, supporting alternative sector, and solidarity with similar businesses.

I also report against this in my annual social impact report to see how far this approach has been able to be achieved.
