Rad Ops Workshop: Running Liberatory Organizations in an Unjust World
Wednesday, October 29: 5-8pm UK time / 1-4pm Eastern time / 10am-1pm Pacific time
In a time where social justice organizations are under attack, we bring you the Rad Ops Framework & Principles, a dialogue-based tool that supports organizations assessing and discussing how to put liberatory principles into practice.
The Rad Ops (Radical Operations) project aims to strengthen the resilience of social justice organizations. We believe that relationships, political visions and organizing projects can outlast institutions and organizational structures, if we regularly dialogue with each other in courageous, creative, and collaborative ways.
In this workshop we will review the framework, principles and lineages of Rad Ops, and guide a small group activity where you can test out how to bring this tool to your organization. Bring your team and test out the tool in a small group together, or you can join a group with others who care about Radical Operations in these times. The presentation sections of this workshop will be recorded and sent to anyone who registers. The interactive components will not be recorded and the workshop overall is most impactful if you’re able to attend live.
Sliding scale $0 - $350 per person, nobody turned away for lack of funds. Once you register you will receive a link to make a contribution. All funds will go toward the next phase of Rad Ops project, including a podcast and workbook. Abusive or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated on the zoom event.
