Can anyone recommend a consultant/organisation who can help directors of a small CIC navigate a collective grievance compassionately? So far the ones I’ve spoken to have been all about us “regaining control” of the situation from the complainants which hasn’t filled me with confidence that they’ll fit in with our values. And likewise I’m looking for a mediator experienced in workplace disputes ideally with in small/flat/radical orgs. Any recommendations gratefully received

Hey @SukeyM - thanks for sharing these requests - it’s not always easy to make these kinds of questions public, but there are so many groups struggling with variations of these problems.
RE: the HR/grievance consultant, not sure if they will have any capacity, but @Abbie_PeopleSupport / People Support Co-op are always our Go-Tos for things like this.
RE: mediators, the folks from both Navigate Co-op and Tripod Training are excellent.

Hi @SukeyM We have been using The Management Center and they are really good. We used them to work through our group unionizing and other difficult situations. As we’ve moved through those, they have also offered coaching for our managers and team. Best to you!
