Just read this - it looks great!

I’m interested to know how these structures and processes are going, in case anyone at PIRC (or anyone with a similar way of organising) wants to share :slightly_smiling_face:

I think @HannahAtPIRC might be able to help you out…

This is great and there was a discussion in a LGBTI comms peer-support group about consensus-based decision making ‘without having to put every social media post to a vote’ so it it was very helpful to share this there - thanks!

I’m also interested to find out if anyone has successfully implemented an effective collaborative non-hierarchical decision making process pls?

Hi @sunshiney -
There are a few consensus-based decision making policies and processes in the library that might be useful, depending on your starting points? Obviously the question of how effective each of them are, will be up to the groups involved to share, but hopefully these could be useful starting points, at least.

This one from tech co-operative, Autonomic: How we make decisions | RadHR Policy Library

This one from the self-managed Wellbeing Economy Alliance: Flat structure decision making & prioritisation processes | RadHR Policy Library

Our own RadHR decision-making policy/process (which we are can obvs speak to more directly, if helpful): Decision-making policy & process | RadHR Policy Library

And this one from a community group with a large volunteer based who are part of the decision-making framework: Decision-making | RadHR Policy Library

Hopefully one of these is helpful?

Hi Liam
This is really helpful. I’ve just read some of the implementation examples and will be magpieing some of these ideas. Thanks again!
